WebAIM offers WAVE, a free web accessibility evaluation tool from their Web site.

WebAIM is a non-profit organization within the Center for Persons with Disabilities (CPD) at Utah State University.

Description: This document contains design guidelines for electronic publications, multimedia and the Web. It presents solutions to accessibility obstacles in a format designed to educate and assist digital publishers as well as Web and content developers.

The guidelines are the culmination of the Beyond the Text project, conducted by the WGBH National Center for Accessible Media (NCAM) and funded by the National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation Research (NIDRR) of the U.S. Department of Education.

Description: TechSoup.org offers nonprofits a one-stop resource for technology needs by providing free information, resources, and support. In addition to online information and resources, they offer a product philanthropy service called TechSoup Stock. Here, nonprofits can access donated and discounted technology products, generously provided by corporate and nonprofit technology partners. TechSoup Stock is open to all qualified 501c3 nonprofit organizations.

TechSoup provides instructional articles and worksheets for nonprofit staff members who utilize information technologies, as well as technology planning information for executives and other decision makers. Their introductory articles and message board support are aimed at those who do not have much experience using technology, but they also provide more advanced information.
